What is Tensile Floor?
The section built in the area between the top floor and the roof of the building is called the tensile floor. A pull-floor is made by building a new flat in the middle of the terrace or between the terrace and the roof, or by expanding an existing flat. If it is built in the middle of the terrace, the pull-out floor, which can have balconies on all four sides, is located behind the front line of the building.
The drawing floor must be registered in the title deed. If it is not registered in the land registry, this situation is considered as a violation of the project. An administrative fine may be imposed on the owner of the real estate or a demolition decision may be given for the pull-out floor.
Homeowners who do not have a title deed must apply to the municipality and request a project change. In line with the project change request, the relevant units of the municipality can make changes in the title deed.
