What is Balcony?

Balcony is a building element that protrudes outward, is surrounded by walls or fences, and has at least one open exterior. Procedures regarding the balcony are determined by the zoning regulations. They can be used for many purposes and can also be built inside the structure. Such interior balconies are more common in movie theaters and show halls.

According to regulations, a balcony must meet all exit conditions. Overhang is defined as structures designed as an extension of floors in buildings, not exceeding the parcel boundaries, with at least one end free, supported, open or closed, and the depth of which is determined by the Implementation Zoning Plan.
