What is Gross?
The word gross means “uninterrupted, uninterrupted”. In the real estate sector, the gross refers to the total area of the real estate. The size of the property is expressed as gross area and net area. Net square meter is the part of the real estate expressed as the “sweepable area” between the walls. On the other hand, the gross square meter includes the parts of the real estate other than the active usage areas. In the project square meter section of the title deed, there are net and gross square meters information. The title deed transfer must be carried out by paying attention to the net square meter information of the independent sections.
How is Gross Area Calculated?
The gross area is divided into two as external gross and internal gross. In order to determine the external gross, all parts of the building included in the construction site such as parking lot, stairs, social area are calculated. Elevators, stair landing, balconies in the independent section, stairs and fire escapes, and column and plaster allowances are also included in the internal gross calculation.
