What is Apartment Decision Book?

The place where the decisions taken at the apartment board meeting, which must be held at least once a year as per the Property Ownership Law, are recorded, is called the apartment decision book. No book can be used in accordance with the Property Ownership Law; The notebook must be notarized.

How is the Apartment Decision Book Prepared?
How the apartment books will be prepared is specified by the provisions of the relevant law. Accordingly, each page of the book must be numbered and each page must be sealed by a notary public. All decisions of the floor owners board must be included in the ledger. If a decision made by the residents of the apartment who attended the apartment meeting is rejected by the apartment flat owners’ board, the details of this decision should be recorded in the book.

It is the responsibility of the apartment manager to record the decisions taken at the meetings in the apartment decision book. It is essential that this ledger is closed by the manager at the end of each year. If the apartment manager does not fulfill this responsibility, he may be punished according to the law.
