What is a Declaration?

Declaration is a term that means “notification” in law. For example, declaration of real estate means declaring real estate. The declaration of goods, on the other hand, means that the person making the declaration has the right and responsibility for the goods mentioned in the declaration. There is also the term to declare in law. This means that the declarant must make a recordable notification, verbally and in writing, about the subject.

The person declaring is responsible for the subject he/she declares. This responsibility is associated with the person in case of a written or verbal statement. Except for special cases determined by law, it is not possible not to accept responsibility for the declared situation. Oral representation may need to be supported by witnesses in court. A written statement in accordance with the judicial conditions does not need to be supported by witnesses.
