What is Duplex?
Two-storey apartments with stairs are called duplexes. Although duplex literally means a two-storey house, only detached buildings are not duplexes. A duplex can also be the top floor (attic duplex) or an apartment located on the lowest floor. Such duplex apartments are also called floor duplex or floor duplex. Duplex detached buildings are known as duplex houses or duplex villas according to their architectural style.
Duplex flat types are divided into two as reverse duplex and duplex. In the opposite duplex, the entrance to the house is on the upper floor. It is generally preferred in garden floors or detached structures. Structurally, it is similar to duplex. The upper floor is usually divided into the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen according to the width of the space. The lower floor is designed for common areas such as the guest room and kitchen. It is preferred because it offers a wide usage area and the living area is located on a separate floor.
