What are the Apartment Rules?
The set of rules that are recorded in written form in the apartments and that all the residents of the apartments must follow are called the apartment rules. The apartment rules are taken by the flat owner’s board and all apartment residents are expected to follow the rules by informing them of these rules. Residents who do not comply with the rules can be removed from the apartment with a joint decision.
The scope of the apartment rules has been comprehensively covered in Article 32 of the Property Ownership Law. For details, the relevant article can be examined. The article is as follows: “The main real estate is managed by the board of flat owners in accordance with the decisions to be made in accordance with the contract, management plan and the provisions of the law.” Pursuant to this article, the decisions taken by the apartment management board cover the tenants as well as the apartment owners. The rules apply to the independent sections of the apartment as well as the common areas.
Rules may include items such as:
- Food should not be thrown from the glass to feed animals.
- Apartment dues are paid at the beginning of the month.
- Apartment residents cannot make noise above a certain decibel.
- It is forbidden to damage the common use items of the apartment.
- It is forbidden to leave shoes in front of the door. At the same time, garbage should be placed in front of the door between 18:00 and 19:00.
