In order to benefit from government support, a housing account must first be opened. When a regular payment is made to this account for a period of 3 years, the state gives financial support to buy a house according to the amount of savings in the account.<\/p>\n<p>However, for this, the person who will open a housing account must not have a residence fully registered in his name as of 07\/04\/2015. In addition, only citizens of the Republic of Turkey can open a housing account, and an account can be opened in the name of a parent or guardian of persons under the age of 18.<\/p>\n<h2>How to Open a Housing Account?<\/h2>\n<p>Citizens with the above-mentioned features can open a housing account in banks in the form of a time deposit account or a deposit account. Of course, this account cannot be combined with another account and cannot be transferred to another bank. The minimum and maximum amounts that can be deposited into the account are determined according to the years.<\/p>\n<p>Housing account holders can deposit money into the account more than once within the maturity date, provided that the maximum amount is not exceeded. In addition, more than the maximum amount can be deposited at the account opening, for a one-time only. State contribution rates for 2021 are as follows:<\/p>\n<p>The state contribution for a 36 &#8211; 47 month maturity is 15% of the savings amount. The amount payable cannot exceed 26,995.96 TL.<br \/>\nThe state contribution for a 48 &#8211; 59 month maturity is 18% of the savings amount. The amount payable cannot exceed 29,072.57 TL.<br \/>\nThe state contribution for a maturity of 60 months or more is 20% of the savings amount. The amount payable cannot exceed 31,149,18 TL.<br \/>\nState subsidy can be obtained after the purchase of the real estate. In order to receive the state subsidy within 6 months after purchasing the house, it is necessary to apply to the bank where the housing account was opened.<\/p>\n<h2>Can Money Be Withdrawn From Housing Account?<\/h2>\n<p>A maximum of two withdrawals can be made from the housing account within a period.
